John Jackson


John has been involved in making investments in the retirement village and aged care industry for many years. John has been instrumental in retail offerings for a wide range of commercial property and retirement village entities as an adviser, director, or manager. He has held senior executive officer positions in a number of financial service organisations.

John has been a director of the following Senior Trust companies which issued or managed securities:

In 2011 - Senior Trust Management being the manager of Senior Trust Retirement Village Fund Portfolio D (a unit trust) issued $9.3 million units which were fully repaid in cash or refinanced by the Portfolio E unit trust.

In 2012-SeniorTrust Capital a continuous issuer of securities in accordance with the Financial Markets Conduct Act that specialises in lending to and investing in retirement villages.

In 2014 - Senior Trust Management being the manager of Senior Trust Retirement Village Fund Portfolio E (a unit trust) issued $13.4m units.

In 2015 - Senior Trust Management issued the Senior Trust Retirement Village Listed Fund whose units are listed on the NZX Main Board and has units issued of $42.25m.

Scott Lestor


Scott is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant who has held senior leadership and financial positions in several high-profile, complex and dynamic organisations.  Scott is also a Member of the Institute of Directors.Scott has strong governance experience and has held directorships in both public and private entities. 


Scott is the Executive Director of Senior Trust Management Limited which manages the Senior Trust Retirement Village Listed Fund (“Fund”), which is listed on the NZX Main Board.  The Fund is a specialist lender to the Retirement Village sector and has, for each quarter since inception, either met or exceeded the Fund’s Targeted Distribution Rate. Scott has a strong understanding of the financial sector and the regulatory landscape. Scott’s expertise also includes finance, strategic development, governance, marketing, compliance, contract negotiations and stakeholder relations.

Tracey Goodin


Tracey has been a director of Senior Trust and associated entities for 8 years; he applies his experience to specialisation in lending. Over the years, Tracey has developed extensive experience in credit and risk assessment within the retirement village sector. Tracey’s focus will be on oversight of the management of our current investments, and ensuring that the management team deliver best practice standards in this regard.

Alex Ceban


Alex Ceban is a finance specialist with over 10 years of international experience.

Combined with a BA in Accounting his specialities are: external audit, financial planning and analysis, internal controls, reporting, project management, business development, due diligence, strategy analysis.


Alex joined Senior Trust from PwC.  Alex profile also includes strategy management advisory role at one of the world’s  largest manufacturer of optoelectronic semiconductors and a corporate finance analyst role with a boutique investment firm. Alex was appointed as Senior Trust’s Head of Finance in 2019.  

Clive Jimmieson


Clive has a Bachelor of Management Studies from Waikato University and is a former Chartered Accountant in the commercial arena.  
He has held a variety of senior roles in General Management, Finance, Marketing and Strategic planning, in both public and private businesses. In this time Clive has been involved in numerous successful acquisitions and mergers.  Clive mentors on  Strategy, Structure and Governance.
Clive is currently Head of Compliance for a NZX Main Board Listed MIS fund and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
